Join Easterseals at Garvin Park Wed., Dec. 4, 2024, when Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights is open ONLY to runners, joggers, walkers, and persons using wheelchairs or other mobility equipment. No vehicles or carriages on this night! Experience the magic of more than 85 dazzling displays in a special way. Participate in the "Bright Lights for Easterseals" 5K race or the 1-mile walk. Adding to the fun will be food trucks and an optional costume contest with prizes!

5:00 p.m. CDT

  • Registration opens at designated Runner Tent and Walker Tent in Bosse Field parking lot adjacent to Garvin Park. 5K race $30 per person if not pre-registered; 1-mile walk $5 per person if not pre-registered; free for children age 2 and under.
  • Enter the optional costume contest sponsored by Greer's Flooring America! Wear fun, festive attire. You can walk the Greer's red carpet, be photographed, and be in the running for prizes! Costume contest participants receive a free ornament while supplies last.
  • Food for sale from Pizza Revolution, Traveling Tom's, and Tater Temptations food trucks.

5:45 p.m. CDT

  • Bright Lights for Easterseals 5K starts. Medals for top finishers in each age group!

6:30 p.m. CDT

  • Walkers can begin the Bright Lights for Easterseals 1-mile walk. You may begin your walk any time between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. but must complete the route before 9:00 p.m., when Garvin Park will go dark.
