We were excited to unveil the reimagining of Play Town for the 2024 camp season. Play Town is located outside and includes five three-sided box structures and a large open building with window cutouts, doors and peek holes. During free time, campers enjoy engaging in pretend play throughout the structures. Play Town was last updated in 2010, so it was time for a new look.
Mural artist, Jeff Stumhofer, made our vision come to life when he converted the little shops into food trucks and the larger building into a camp store, karaoke club and Lily’s music store. Campers provided informal input into what they would like to see in Play Town when we were brainstorming ideas and they are thrilled with the fresh look. The food trucks are painted in the round and the large structure now includes artwork on the inside. Enjoy the images below for a look into Play Town.
