LEAP (Learn, Earn, Achieve, Practice)

Employment preparation for youth with disabilities

LEAP is a comprehensive employment preparation experience for youth with disabilities, ages 16-21, who attend school and are eager to work and earn a paycheck. It combines workplace and independent living skills instruction with paid work experience to provide participants with the skills they need to transition more successfully into adulthood.

This year we are adding a summer session to our program offering. There will be the usual Spring and Fall sessions, and two new summer sessions. See brief descriptions below. The program is offered in partnership with the Office of Vocational Rehabilition. Students should have an open OVR case in order to enroll, but we will enroll a limited number of students without OVR cases if funding is available. LEAP is offered at no cost to participants.
