Easterseals Veteran Service Program

Easterseals Central Texas' Veteran Service Program aims to help improve the mental health and over-all wellness of Texas veterans and their families through the integration of mental health and wraparound nonclinical services to be provided by a community collaborative established with several other veteran service organizations in Travis, Bastrop, Hays and Williamson counties. The program is in partnership with the Samaritan Center, Capital IDEA, Operation Supply Drop, and Texas Health and Human Services. The staff will help veterans and veteran households to learn about supportive services in their community, including mental health, education, and wellness through recreation. Easterseals Central Texas, Capital IDEA, Samaritan Center, and Operation Supply Drop are leading industry service providers in these areas currently, and will continue building a coalition of organizations devoted to honoring veterans and ensuring they can live their best lives after serving our country

This program is supported by a grant from the Health and Human Services Texas Veterans + Family Alliance Grant Program.
