Easter Seals New York offers the following Education Services throughout New York State:

The Bronx Child Development Center is an innovative school located in the Parkchester neghborhood in The Bronx. The  CDC has provided Early Intervention, Preschool and Supportive Services to the Bronx community for over 28 years. 

Located in Port Jervis, Project Discovery is the first Integrated Preschool in New York providing Universal Pre-K and Special Education programs.

Project Explore offers  After School and Integrated Preschool programs for parents and students in the Valhalla Central School District, as well as a Day Care facility.  

Project Imagine in Irvington, New York is also an Integrated Preschool program modeled after Project Discovery.

The Kessler Center in Rochester, New York, is a private special education school offering both residential and day placement for students with developmental disabilities.

Camp Colonie's "School Without Walls" Summer School Program is the first Summer School of its kind in New York. A Board of Education approved Summer School program for students with disabilities, our "School Without Walls" is held at the Colonie Town Park, where students are able to attend Summer School while enjoying the outdoors and the camp environment of our integrated day camp, Camp Colonie.  

FERPA - The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

FERPA is the federal law that gives parents the right to access their child’s education records, the right to have their child’s education record amended and some control over the release of personally identfiable information found in the child’s education record. When the child turns 18 years or enters post-secondary education, these rights transfer to the child.
