Volunteer

Volunteering at Easterseals can help put hope in reach of children and adults with disabilities and special needs.

Brighten the day of a child or adult by sharing your valuable time and talent while volunteering at Easterseals.  We have many programs and services that can use your help.

The following is a list of volunteer opportunities at Easterseals:

Adult Day Services: This program is designed to enhance the lives of adults while promoting their dignity and independence. Easterseals partners with families to ensure a continuation of their high standards of care are met, while giving families peace of mind their loved ones are taken care of.

Fundraising: We host many events throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to assist with planning, seeking donations and setting up on the day of the event.

Teen Group: Easterseals hosts monthly activities for teens, ages 13-21, with a disability. The outings and group events provide an opportunity for social interaction and respite for parents.

Facility Beautification: Our center located at 299 Edwards Street is large so we welcome assistance in helping to clean and maintain our playground, maintaining the landscaping, special paining projects, etc.

Easterseals has volunteer opportunities throughout the year for individuals, clubs, schools, organizations, and corporations. If you want to explore volunteer opportunities, please contact Cheryl Lloyd at 330-599-5530 or clloyd@mtc.easterseals.com.

After successfully completing a background check, volunteers will receive a brief orientation and training. For safety reasons, at no time will a volunteer be left alone with a client.

With your help, together we know we can make a difference.
