Easter Seals Iowa offers youth and adults with autism opportunities to live, learn, work and play in our communities. We understand the differing needs of how to support people with autism adapt to changing environments. People with autism are served across all program lines including programs for adults, programs for children, camp and respite, case management, and employment programs.
Easter Seals Iowa provides Rainbow Connection, a week-long camp for clients age four to seventeen who are on the autism spectrum. The camp utilizes sensory items in addition to the usual summer camp traditions of horseback riding, swimming, lake activities, rock climbing, and arts and crafts. Additional autism resources are available through the national Easter Seals organization.
