Charles H. Hoch Foundation supports Camp Lily-Lehigh Valley

The Charles H. Hoch Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to support Camp Lily Lehigh Valley, and help kids and young adults with disabilities have a fun and rewarding summer camp experience. Camp Lily-Lehigh Valley is a six-week day camp that is designed to provide a well-rounded summer camp experience for children and young adults with disabilities. Our primary goal is to ensure that all children, regardless of their ability, enjoy the things all kids look forward to in the summer: outdoor fun, time with friends and new experiences. Offered in a series of one-week sessions, Camp Lily is a busy place every day with a full schedule of arts and crafts activities, outdoor sports, swimming, music, games, science exploration, barbecues and field trips to regional attractions. The program is designed to ensure that the campers have ample opportunities to interact with and make new friends; spend time in an inclusive setting where they can explore their personal interests; be part of a larger community with the support they need to succeed; enhance their social skills; increase their independence; and have fun experiencing and doing new things.
