The Easter Seals RI Story

Easterseals RI provides exceptional services to ensure that children and young adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Established in 2006, Easterseals RI offers Early Intervention services to children birth to age three. In April 2015, we saw a need in the community and established Veterans Count Rhode Island, a program of Easterseals, which provides critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.

In July 2018 Easterseals Rhode Island launced employment and community support services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.  With offices located in Providence and South Kingstown, we serve the entire state of Rhode Island.
Easterseals Rhode Island's comprehensive services are individualized to meet the employment and personal interests of each participant.  Services include:
     - Case management
     - Job Preparation
     - Job Development
     - Job Coaching
     - Direct Support for Individual Activities, Hobbies and Interests
     - Transportation to and from work or activities in the community
Our staff are well trained to provide both employment and community supports and receive on-going training to support people with a variety of intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
