Fund development dollars allow Easter Seals to provide services to individuals who are unable to obtain services elsewhere, and to develop new programs that help change the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families.

This year Easter Seals Rio Grande Valley provided over three million dollars of services to individuals with disabilities and their families in South Texas.  We are able to do this through service revenue, grant moneys and fund development efforts.

More than 98% of Easter Seals revenue supports services in the Valley.  This year, Easter Seals programs served over 2,000 individuals and family members.

For over 20 years, the National Health Council has ranked Easter Seals first among its member agencies for the percentage of program dollars allocated to providing direct services as stated in its Report on Voluntary Health Agency Revenue and Expenses:  A Consumer’s Guide to Wise Philanthropic Giving.

As the Valley continues to be one of the fastest growing communities in the state and nation, individuals needing Easter Seals support and services will continue to grow.  For additional information regarding Easter financials, please contact Easter Seals at (956) 631-9171.
