Easter Seals Houston has partnered with Easter Seals Rio Grande Valley to expand the Bridging Apps project in our Valley Community. This project is comprised of a community of parents, therapists, doctors and teachers who share information about using mobile device technology to support the development and education of child and adults of all abilities. Easter Seals Greater Houston and BridgingApps introduced Insignio, a custom-built tool developed to allow users to target their app search by specific attributes and skills. With over 500,000 apps available there are options to support the diverse skills of children and adults with disabilities. This program provides a tremendous opportunity to reach more people and help bridge the gap between technology and the end user.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and held on the last Thursday of every month at 5:30pm at the McAllen Public Library. For more information, contact Easter Seals at (956) 631-9171.
