Employment Coordination

Easterseals participants who receive services through Louisiana's Home and Community Based Medicaid Waivers may be able to use some of their resources for finding and maintaining employment.  When ESL's Support Coordinators work with participants in developing their plan of care and allocating their resources they will ensure that participants who want to seek employment have the resources to do so.

Employment Support in Behavioral Health

Many of ESL's Behavioral Health Programs provide support in finding and obtaining employment.  Case managers and Peer Support Specialists work with participants to identify skills, search for jobs, and make applications.  After securing housing through our housing first model, sustained employment is a focus to ensure a transition to independent living.
