Easterseals Camp Growing Green: Karissa Hensel

Hello everyone! My name is Karissa Hensel and I am the director at Camp Growing Green. This will be my 9th summer working camp and each year my excitement grows! A little about me: I just ended my first year as a K-2 Emotional Support Teacher; I have an adorable pup named Cali who loves to go on hikes and play outside; my hobbies include crafting, Croc collecting (yes the shoes), and frog watching! I love the color red and cacti make me happy. I look forward to seeing everyone soon at camp! 

Camp Lily Berks: Trisha Herrera

Hello! This will be my 5th summer as camp director at Camp Lily Berks. During the non-summer months, I am a first-grade teacher. I am also a busy mom to 6 children, a dog and a cat. My hobbies consist of shuttling kids to and from their hobbies. I don't have much free time but when I do I love to read, go on walks/hikes, or just spend time with my family.

Camp Lily Berks is nestled at the top of the beautiful Mt. Penn and features an air conditioned indoor space, play areas, swings, garden beds, pavilions, swimming pool and extensive outdoor space. Some of the activities we will have include swimming, arts and crafts, sports, exercise, gardening, and nutrition. We will have weekly themes with super fun activities! I am very eager for you to lead with your strengths and talents in order to bring camp to life. Let’s make this a summer to remember!

Camp Lily Lehigh Valley: Janine Noel

My name is Janine Noel and this is my 4th summer as the director of Camp Lily Lehigh Valley. During the school year, I am an Associate Teacher at Nazareth Area High School. I graduated from Moravian College in 2010 and have been working in the special education and human services field ever since. Outside of camp, I love to read Stephen King and Dean Koontz, watch horror and thriller movies, listen to music, play word puzzles and drink tea. On the weekends, you will most likely find my boyfriend and I wandering through local antique shops, hiking or eating Doritos Locos Tacos at Taco Bell. I love elephants, Westies, and anything Muppets related. My most used apps on my phone are Pandora, Google Books and Amazon Prime. I'm very excited for another year of camp. My favorite part of camp is making the constellation frisbees during our Outer Space themed week.
