Services
At Easter Seals Superior California, we believe in empowering independence through opportunity. Our programs include computer literacy and internet skills, helping participants connect with the world around them. You’ll find our consumers out in the community — visiting museums, college campuses, libraries, parks, and local shops and restaurants.
Through volunteer and work experiences, participants gain hands-on skills and confidence. Easter Seals Enterprises provides paid employment and vocational training, while our Day Programs offer a chance to explore different jobs and discover future goals.
Each program runs five days a week, giving participants consistent support and structure.
Adult Day Programs
Easter Seals offers a variety of community-based Adult Day Programs in the greater Sacramento area that promote independence.
Our plans are person-centered, and participants choose from a calendar of age-appropriate activities that help them meet their personal goals. The goals are determined by the individual, and the activities are fun, yet structured with a purpose.
Groups include self-advocacy, community safety, health and wellness, time and money management, vocational training, creative arts, appropriate social interactions and leisure activities.
Access to the Community Through Education, Integration, and Training (ACE IT I)
ACE IT I is a unique Adult Day Program designed to help individuals with disabilities build meaningful connections within their community. Through volunteer opportunities, participants are encouraged to explore their personal passions while making positive contributions to others.
Each individual’s objectives are developed around their abilities, interests, and needs, with a focus on personal growth, communication, and essential social skills. Our ultimate goal is to empower every participant to achieve their highest level of independence and fulfillment.
Access to the Community Through Education, Integration, and Training (ACE IT II)
ACE IT II empowers individuals with developmental disabilities through hands-on experiences that build essential life skills, foster creativity, and encourage community engagement. Participants enjoy opportunities such as shopping, dining, community exploration, cooking, crafting, woodworking, and art—each designed to promote independence and lifelong learning.
Our program also hosts a booth at the Fair Oaks Farmers Market, where handcrafted items made by participants are showcased. The woodworking group further highlights their skills by creating custom pieces with care and creativity.
Operating at a 4:1 ratio, ACE IT II is tailored for individuals who receive services through Alta Regional Center. Each participant is supported by an Individualized Success Coordinator to personalize their journey, while our team of Program Support Trainers ensures daily learning, fun, and meaningful connections.
Access to the Community Through Education, Integration, and Training (ACE IT III)
ACE-IT III is a vibrant, community-based program for individuals with developmental disabilities, designed to build essential life skills and foster greater independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Participants gain valuable daily living and community access training while exploring opportunities in the arts.
The Fine Arts Program encourages creative expression through both visual and tactile art forms, while the Performing Arts Program gives individuals the chance to shine in an annual talent show and contribute to the production of a festive haunted house event. Every activity in ACE-IT III is thoughtfully designed to spark confidence, nurture creativity, and create lasting connections within the community.
Functional Integrated Living Skills (FILS)
At FILS, our Adult Day Program is all about celebrating individuality and sparking creativity. Guided by our caring staff, participants enjoy personalized experiences that inspire growth and confidence every day. We encourage everyone to explore a wide variety of activities—cooking, advocacy, life skills, wellness, and more—so there’s always something new to try, enjoy, and learn from. Our program also builds strong community connections.
We are thankful for the support of our local law enforcement and fire departments, who join our events and help make our community stronger. We’ve also partnered with Almond Heights Assisted Living for monthly activities, where friendships are made. Special visits from Wild Things Animal Rescue bring hands-on learning about local wildlife, sparking curiosity and education. We’re here to support every participant in thriving, growing, and building connections.

At Easter Seals Enterprises or ESE, we help people discover employment opportunities that feel right, where their talents shine and their hard work truly pays off.
We help people discover jobs that feel right, where their talents can shine and their hard work truly pays off. By building inclusive employment opportunities, we create spaces where everyone belongs and feels connected. We encourage confidence and independence, supporting individuals as they make their own employment choices and shape their own paths. And above all, we celebrate the joy that comes from growth — for individuals, families, and the communities that lift each other up. We’re here to make a difference — together.
Pediatric Services
Through Pediatric Services, Easter Seals helps children develop the skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and in the community. Our dedicated team provides individualized therapies and support, while working closely with families to encourage growth, inclusion, and independence.
Physical Therapy Services
Physical therapists at Easter Seals help children grow, move, and thrive in the places that matter most—their homes, schools, and communities. Our approach focuses on building independence, confidence, and self-efficacy so children can fully participate in daily life and engage meaningfully in their communities and with their peers.
We work closely with families, honoring parent concerns while using evidence-based strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. Together, we support children in reaching their potential while empowering families every step of the way.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy supports individuals in developing independence and promoting success in activities that are meaningful to them. Our team of occupational therapy practitioners (OT's and COTA's) utilize and affirming and supportive approach to meet a child where they are at and continue to gain new skills.
Services support activities of daily living and self-care, as well as fine motor strength and coordination, visual perception, bilateral coordination and motor planning, and sensory processing and modulation. We help individuals to use their strengths and motivation, to increase independence and utilize sensory supports that are both individualized and significant to them and their families.
Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language therapy supports individuals in developing robust and reliable ways to communicate and is more than just words! Our team of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) utilize an affirming approach to support services honoring each person's strengths, interests, and individualized support needs.
Services support speech production, including oral motor skills, voicing, speech fluency, and articulation, as well as language, including understanding and expression. We help individuals develop authentic and autonomous communication so that they can communicate what they want, when they want, using any communication method that they choose.
Child Development
Child Development Specialists (CDS) help young children grow and thrive by supporting their interactions with others and the world around them in their homes, schools, and communities. Our team works closely with families using a parent coaching model that builds on each child’s unique strengths and interests, while honoring the family’s priorities.
We focus on social-emotional and cognitive development through the power of play, a child’s most natural way of learning. By exploring play during everyday routines and activities, we help children develop important thinking skills, emotional skills, and social connections. By focusing on relationships, routines, and play, our CDS help caregivers feel more connected, confident, and supported. Through this relationship-based approach, we empower families to create meaningful moments that support lifelong learning and connection.
