The Easterseals team empowers Paige to succeed!

When you meet Paige Musgrove, you instantly become a fan! Paige is an energetic, exuberant, and busy 11-year-old from Evansville. She loves being on the basketball team at Holy Rosary Elementary, playing baseball in the Challenger League, and flying high with her Spirit Cheer squad. Paige seems to have an endless supply of enthusiasm, so you might be surprised to learn that she encounters big challenges every day. And every day, Easterseals empowers Paige to pursue her dreams, thanks to our generous community!

Paige was born with dwarfism, and her short stature often makes it difficult to accomplish everyday tasks. Things that most other fifth-graders take for granted—like opening a door to enter school or to access a restroom or to exit a building independently—can be major obstacles.

Paige works very hard with her Easterseals therapist every week. They tackle fun yet challenging activities that look like games or sports. But they’re actually focusing on improving Paige’s range of motion and balance, strengthening her arms, legs, and trunk, and building her confidence. Together, they find new ways for Paige to reach her ever-changing goals.

It takes a whole team of supporters to make the Easterseals mission possible. We appreciate every staff member, volunteer, donor, and friend who helps us empower local people like Paige to achieve their dreams!
