Hang Time is all new this year as we visit a variety of locations throughout Berks County to enjoy some fun activities. See list below. More to be added!

Hang Time is an evening recreation program for ages 12 through young adult (over age 21 as appropriate). Participants enjoy spending time with friends in a safe, nurturing, supportive environment while parents enjoy an evening of respite. The program is staffed by young adults with the skills and training to provide the behavioral, developmental and communication support necessary for the success of all participants. The staffing ratio is 1:3. TSS and other support staff are welcome.

$150 for each 8-week session
Waiver eligible funding through the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP)

6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday nights (exception: Oct 12 7pm-9pm)

Session dates:
Session 1: September 21, 2018 - November 9, 2018
Session 2: November 30, 2018 - January 25, 2019*
      *No program December 28th
Session3: February 15, 2019 - April 5, 2019

Sept 21: Golf and ice cream at Schell’s Dairy Swirl and Miniature Golf, 4625 5th Street Highway, Temple
Sept 28: Roller skating and fun at Ozzy’s Sports & Fitness, 5411 Pottsville Pike, Leesport
Oct 5: Fun and fitness at All Abilities Fitness Center, 3811 Perkiomen Ave., Reading
Oct 12 **7pm-9pm**: Hayride and apple launching at Jim Dietrich Park, 4899 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Rd., Reading
Oct 19: Bowling at Heister’s Lanes, 801 Heister’s Lane, Reading
Oct 26: Halloween Party at Camp Lily Berks, Mount Penn, intersection of List and Angora Road, Reading
Nov 2: Fun and fitness at All Abilities gym, 3811 Perkiomen Ave., Reading
Nov 9: Bowling at Berks Lanes, 3190 Shillington Rd., Sinking Spring, PA
