AUSTIN, Texas— Easter Seals Central Texas, a nonprofit organization which champions children and adults with disabilities to reach their full potential hosted their 19th annual Casino Royale King and Queen of Hearts Gala on Saturday, February 28 at Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa. The event was hosted by emcees Scotty Bennett, on air personality from KOKE-FM and Austin High School senior Archer Hadley, who recently was featured in the news for raising money to have automatic push button doors installed on the Austin High School campus for students with a disability.

Guests of the gala were greeted by the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland as they entered a whimsical King and Queen of Hearts themed ballroom. The evening featured a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auction, casino games and dancing.

Led by this year’s event chairs Dr. David and Sharon Sneed, the proceeds from the gala exceeded the previous year revenues which helps Easter Seals Central Texas sustain and grow critical services and programs for children and adults with disabilities and their families giving them the ability to live, work and play in their community.

Emcees Scotty Bennett and Archer Hadley led a spirited live auction including packages from KOKE-FM, Formula 1® and Air Combat USA.

Easter Seals Central Texas President and CEO Tod Marvin said, “Easter Seals Central Texas is so grateful to our donors, sponsors and supporters, whose generosity enables us to bring hope and independence in the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families.”

Sponsors for the evening were Monarch Natural Gas, Infinite Workforce Solutions, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate/Bradfield Properties, Prosperity Bank, Maxwell Locke & Ritter LL, Jeannette Spinelli - Spinelli Residential Group/KW Realty.
