Clelia's Story
Meet Clelia. She was diagnosed with a speech and language impediment. However, she was given the opportunity to participate in the Easterseals South Florida Head Start program. In less than three months, her parents noticed an incredible improvement. "We managed to understand her!" Romell's Story
Meet Romell. He is a 22-year-old student with Autism who started the Easterseals Academy when he was in middle school, but today, he is a graduate with high honors from the Culinary Arts Program. Learn more about Easterseals South Florida's Culinary Arts Program that helps young adults like Romell.
Phoenix's Story
Meet Phoenix. Phoenix and his mom were going through a very rough patch. His parents divorced. He lost his home and eventually became homeless. Through various Easterseals South Florida services, Phoenix’s mom was able to secure an amazing job and move into a new home. Phoenix even got a new puppy! Jayden's Story
Meet Jayden. Jayden has made tremendous progress in all areas! When Jayden first started at Easterseals last summer, it was hard for him to enter the classroom without crying; he had difficulty separating from his parents. A client at our Kendall Adult Day Care, Gladys is a shining example of achieving the best possible quality of life with the help of a strong support system. Gladys recently celebrated her 101st birthday surrounded by loving family, friends, and program staff!
