Wine and Dine at the 2nd Annual Red, White & Brew to benefit Easter Seals RI

Wakefield, RI — Enjoy an evening out with friends at the Red, White and Brew on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 6-9pm. This wine and beer pairing and auctions event will be held at The Haversham in Westerly and will benefit the children and young adults with special needs and disabilities who participate in Easter Seals RI programs and services.

This year’s event has moved to a new location allowing the Red, White and Brew to expand and include more guests and the ability to provide a variety of delicious food samples from our restaurant sponsors including The Haversham, The Breachway Grille, The Twisted Vine, Wildwood Catering, Five 90 Café and Catering, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Mariner Grille, Casa Della Luce, Sweet Cakes and Chocolate Dreams. In addition to dining on delightful treats, guests will be able to sip fine wines and microbrews provided by Pier Liquors, McLaughlin and Moran, Kraft Beer Guild and Gray Sail, all while listening to the smooth sounds of Matty B. and his saxophone!

“We are so grateful for this year’s restaurant, wine and beer sponsors, as well as our event sponsors—Home Star Mortgage, Washington Trust, Liberty Rentals, O’Neil Consulting, A Quick Tire, GenCorp/Dick Pike Insurance, Southern RI Newspapers, Coast 93.3FM and B101FM—who have all made this event possible,” said Easter Seals RI Director of Development, Judy Fortier.

The live and silent auctions will contain an assortment of items for guests to bid on including sporting packages to the Boston Celtics, Providence Bruins and RI golf courses, restaurant gift certificates, jewelry, a limo package, and two leather recliners from Cardi’s Furniture auctioned off by Nick Cardi.

Upon entering each guest will receive his or her very own Riedel crystal stem. Tickets are $50/person and can be purchased online at www.eastersealsri.org/events.
