Little Lonestar Academy Classrooms

Preschool age children of all abilities enjoy shared activities and relate to one another in a similar fashion. Our goal at the Little Lonestar Academy is to have a positive impact and better the lives of children of all abilities!

That’s why our staff members provide developmentally appropriate curricula, experiences, and activities, as well as therapeutic intervention for those in need of such services.All children will have plenty of time for outdoor activities. They are also encouraged to use their imaginations during dramatic play and art activities.  Group activities and engaging individual challenges are offered to help improve their language, social and academic skills.

The Little Lonestar Academy welcomes children with diverse abilities to learn and grow in a fun place.

Age-Specific Programs:

  • Ages 6 weeks - 17 months
    Our warm, loving caregivers provide a secure  environment for infants to explore.  We believe play and exploration lead to the best possible growth.  Teachers use encouraging, research-driven methods to build strong young minds. 

    Ages 18-35 Months
    Staff members provide toddlers warm, nurturing care and use thematic activities to encourage socialization and exploration in a naturalistic environment.
  • Ages 3-5 Years
    Children participate in hands-on activities that build self-image, independence and the ability to make positive choices in a fun and engaging environment. Children will be learning the important academic fundamentals needed for future success in school.
  • Ages 4-6 Years
    Staff prepare children for a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten, with an emphasis on social, academic and problem-solving skills. Children receive an introduction to a life-long love of learning with friends.

*Children are placed in groups according to age or developmental age and will be moved to the next age group as openings become available and as appropriate.

Specialized Services Offered

Kindergarten Preparation
This preparation provides children with academic skills to prepare them for a successful kindergarten year.

ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy will provide intensive treatment in language, engagement, and social skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Additional Therapy Services
Occupational, physical, and speech-language therapist provide evaluations and individualized therapy in related development. Click HERE to learn more.
