Chocolate & Champagne Affair Sweetens As It Enters Its 5th Year

Making its 5th annual spalsh, Easterseals Louisiana's Chocolate & Champagne Affair continues to draw in Shreveport’s finest for an evening of sweets and fanfare. Over 390 people came out this past April 9th to Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel to dance the night away and sip champagne all while raising funds for Easter Seals Louisiana's disability services. Thanks to the considerable efforts of event sponsors KSLA News 12Southwestern Electric Power CompanyBlue Cross Blue Shield Louisana, and Allegra the event was a complete success, raising over $63,000.

This year Easter Seals Louisiana was happy to honor John & Jane Hubbard of Shreveport with the our Lily Award, for their unwavering dedication to those with special needs in the community. 

Chocolate vendors included The Wyndham Garden Inn, The Wooden Spoon, The Glenwood Tea Room, Brookshire's Grocery, Cake Bites by Jamee, Candy Galore & More, DOVE Chocolates, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Ralph & Kacoos, Inkpressive Promos, Julie Anne's Bakery and Fairy Tale Cakes.
