Volunteer Tribute
A Salute to Volunteers...
We would like to salute the individuals and groups who give back to the community by contributing time and service at Easterseals Central Texas. They embody the caring that we all want and need when we face challenges.
It is almost breathtaking to realize that there are at least seven volunteers for every paid position at Easterseals Central Texas!!
We could not provide services to people with disabilities without the contributions of so many volunteers. Together they enhance every service, every day, in every location in which we carry out the Easterseals mission.
Volunteers are young, old and in between and they come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences:

They touch an individual child's life as they help with therapy;

They create laughter when they interact during an activity at our therapeutic day camps,

They teach or supervise computer learning experiences;

They locate or repair buildings and equipment

They maintain grounds;

They reshelf books;
-
They raise funds so that children and adults without resources can receive services;

They translate;
-
They do paperwork;
-
They provide professional services;
-
They search for others to help;
-
and so on, and on
What is the value of such contributions? PRICELESS! We thank you.
