Youth, Teens, and Family Services

Respite
The Respite program provides recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities ages 7-21, to gain increased independence and enhanced quality of life through ability and age appropriate activities. Many of these young individuals have not had access to fun and educational activities that others enjoy, and their families have had little or no respite time from the demands of care giving. The programs address this issue by providing an accepting, nurturing place where these young people with disabilities can socialize and have fun with three options: Summer Respite, After School Respite and Weekend Respite.  This program is provided in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Kenosha and Racine counties.

Camps
We offer four summer day and respite camp program options in association with the Milwaukee County Office for Persons with Disabilities and Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department. Each camp provides quality recreational programming with opportunities for social interaction, self-expression, community outings and a variety of daily activities, while our caring staff tend to campers' medical and personal cares. Our camps occur at four different locations in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.

Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH is an exciting transition program for young adults with disabilities. This Easter Seals program is a collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, school districts and long term funding options. It provides employment skill building through internship rotations within the hospital.

Please contact us for more information about any of these programs.

It is the goal of Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin to ensure that all complaints are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The complaint resolution process is designed to provide you with easy access to the correct contacts.
