ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM  SERVING STUDENTS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

Certified exceptional student education teachers utilize systematic instruction and visual tools to help students with autism spectrum disorder achieve academic skills to prepare them for success in school and daily life.

A variety of behavior techniques are proven to be effective for children with autism.  This will help students learn to follow directions and routines, increase social communication and living skills and interact positively in a classroom setting.

CULINARY ARTS HIGH SCHOOL

The Easterseals Culinary Arts High School offers an outstanding academic program with instruction by certified exceptional student education teachers. Special strategies designed to help students achieve success in the classroom environment are utilized. The program utilizes a variety of behavior techniques proven effective for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

Systematic instruction and real world vocational opportunities enable students to develop a variety of skills leading to gainful employment. Students play an active role in developing a portfolio which demonstrates their growing repertoire of Culinary Arts skills.
