Our physical therapists treat patients of all ages with a variety of conditions, including:

  • Injuries
  • Stroke
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Range of motion limitations
  • Balance and walking problems
  • Musculoskeletal pain

A person might benefit from physical therapy if they are experiencing any of the following concerns:

  • Recently lost the ability to do things s/he used to do, such as dressing or bathing
  • Recently fell either in the home or community
  • Has an unsteady gait, loses their balance while walking and/or has to hold onto furniture or other supports while walking
  • Has trouble getting in and out of bed, on and off the toilet and/or in and out of a car

These services require a referral from a provider and are available to individuals who have a medically necessary reason for services and are currently offered in the Greater Hartford Area.
