A Tribute to Bill Yenter

1932-2019

Willam YenterWe are saddened to announce the passing of Bill Yenter. Bill served for many years on the Easterseals Washington Board of Directors in the 1990s and continued to support our mission until his passing in 2019. He was a passionate advocate for children and adults with disabilities in Washington and was especially proud of his work supporting Easterseals Camp Stand By Me. Our thoughts are with Bill's family and friends during this difficult time.

Cathy Bisaillon, Easterseals Washington President & CEO, remembers Bill fondly:

"Bill was the first person to offer a friendly greeting and any help needed when I became CEO of Easterseals Washington. His passion for our mission of helping people who have disabilities was evident and inspiring. No matter how busy he was or what challenges he was encountering, Bill initiated phone calls to talk fundraising strategies. It was Bill who suggested that we have a Board Member Reunion a few years ago, and of course, it had a fundraising goal attached—which we exceeded thanks to Bill! I agree that the world has lost a great guy and a selfless philanthropist. My sincere condolences to his family."
