Jarrod, Easter Seals North Texas Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) program client
Jarrod has been an Easter Seals North Texas Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) program client for many years now. He depends on Nicole, his CLASS case manager, to be his advocate and to make sure he is receiving the services that he needs.
Nicole knows Jarrod. She knows that country music, Miranda Lambert and painting are just a few of Jarrod’s favorite things.
Due to his diagnosis of cerebral palsy, he has limited dexterity in his hands and arms. Therefore, Nicole helped Jarrod attain occupational therapy, where he has found and developed his passion for painting with his mouth. With the paintbrush in his mouth, he concentrates on every stroke. What manifests from those therapy sessions are beautiful paintings, which he rarely keeps.

He loves to give his paintings to his friends, family and people who have helped him along the way to thank them. You can even see one of Jarrod’s masterpieces in Nicole’s office at the Easter Seals North Texas Fort Worth Center.
“Nicole has helped me get the therapies I need,” Jarrod says. “I am her client, but I see her as my friend. I trust her.”
