Easter Seals Louisiana participates in GiveNOLA Day

Easter Seals Louisiana was proud to participate in the first ever GiveNOLA Day - a day where New Orleanians came together to support local non-profits. From midnight to midnight on May 6th online donations to Easter Seals through GiveNOLA.org made an even bigger impact thanks to the many stretch and matching funds available through The Greater New Orleans Foundation and their sponsors. In total we raised $6315 from 46 individual donors!

For our promotion of this online event we hit the streets of New Orleans and launched a strong social media campaign that advertised milestones we were hoping to hit and letting people know just where their donations were going. These photos were then used to build buzz and keep the donations going throughout the 24 hour period on Easter Seals Louisiana's Facebook PageTwitter, and Instagram

We also partnered with local engagement maketing firm RAPJAB to be our official sponsor for GiveNOLA Day. They helped us plan and promote a Gratitude Happy Hour at Gasa Gasa for all our donors.

The event was a great success and we couldn't have done it without our many supporters. Thanks to your efforts, we can continue to provide life altering services to people living with disabilities throughout Louisiana.
