Meet Michael Joe

Michael Joe is Easterseals 2016 Teen Representative. When selected as our ambassador, he exclaimed to his mom, “I am going to be famous!” Michael Joe is one of the most charismatic people you will ever meet and does a great job telling people about his special relationship with Easterseals.

Michael Joe Younger

Michael Joe has been receiving services from Easterseals Arkansas for many years, including graduating from our developmental preschool and receiving pediatric outpatient therapy which he continues today. Michael Joe is also a part of our Pragmatics Group where he is learning social skills and other activities with his peers.

Michael Joe at Fashion EventEasterseals has enjoyed seeing Michael Joe grow up. Michael Joe works hard with his therapists to improve his speech and social interactions. He has been an amazing ambassador spreading awareness on Down Syndrome and making people smile. For the past several years, Michael Joe has walked the runway at Easterseals The Fashion Event, making the store he is modeling for and his family proud. “Michael Joe has made a lot of great friends here, and that brings a full social schedule and a lot of joy for us,” says his mother, Fran.
