2024 Summer Camp Registration opens February 12 at 9am

CampBrain requires new registration paperwork to be completed each year so that all of the important information about our Campers remains up to date. You will sign on to your CampBrain account at eastersealswa.campbrainregistration.com. If you are unsure of the email address you registered with or need a password reset, let us know and we will be able to assist.

Summer Camp Registration Information

Registration is changing a bit this year. Here are the steps to register:

  • Mark your calendars – Registration opens to all at 9am on February 12.
  • Everyone will be automatically waitlisted – don’t worry, it is just a step in the process. Please feel free to register at any time on February 12.
  • We ask that you register for your first three session choices.
  • Sessions are divided by age groups for registration purposes only. Note that cabin groups will be formed to maximize camper interests and experiences.
  • During the registration process, you will answer additional questions ranking your three session choices: first, second, third. You will also be asked how many of the three sessions you would like to attend, if they are available.
  • We have a priority list from those of you who had a session cancelled 2020-2023. If you were told you would have priority this year, please include that in an email to campadmin@wa.easterseals.com so we are sure we give you priority for your session.
  • We will establish your camper(s) ratios when we finalize your registration.
  • Confirmation emails will be sent as soon as the camper is placed in a session – this could take up to two weeks.

Sessions, Capacity, and Camper Care Ratios

There are 10 sessions this summer, each with a maximum of 36 campers and a limit of 10 campers with a 1:1 care ratio. All campers will be designated as 1:1 or group (1:3). If your camper needs complete assistance for personal care, has medical needs that require 1:1 attention, or has behavioral disabilities requiring full supervision by our staff, they are 1:1.

Important Forms

Our current forms are listed below. In 2019, we introduced new forms based on input from our medical staff and American Camp Association guidelines. We appreciate everyone adjusting with us! The forms worked incredibly well for our Medical Staff. This year, we have kept them the same, with some minor improvements. We have separated the Parent Intake Form from the Medication Administration Record (MAR).

  • All campers will need a Parent Intake Form on file, which captures important information on best contacts, how your camper takes medication, and what as-needed medications you would like available to your camper if needed (Ibuprofen for a headache, Milk of Magnesia for upset stomach, etc.).
  • Campers who will be bringing medications, tube feeding, or have topical treatments will need a Medication Administration Record (MAR) filled out by their doctor.
  • All campers will need a Physical Examination Form.
  • The PDF version of these documents will all be FILLABLE. The Parent Intake Form can be filled out, as well as signed, digitally. We hope this will be a convenient addition to our forms!
  • You will find a copy of Important Policies Statement 2024 for your review. You will be asked to read and sign off on it during the online registration. This document has been updated, including additions like our adjustment in 2020 to becoming a peanut-free zone - an important move towards making Camp safe and healthy for everyone. Please read this document and be aware of our current policies.
