Wendy Bevill-  Early Intervention Supervisor Upstate

W. Bevill

Wendy is a graduate of USC Upstate with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education.  She has been an Early Interventionist, Developmental Specialist, and is currently the supervisor for the Upstate 2 region. Before joining Easterseals, Wendy was a certificated victim’s advocate for the state of SC.  During that time, she assisted victims of sexual violence in our community, worked with children during parenting workshop classes, and in childcare.  Wendy loves empowering families with knowledge and strategies to improve their lives and build their confidence. She believes that early intervention changes lives and gives children, in our community, a better start. Wendy and her husband, Daniel are blessed with two, full of life, young boys and three kitties




Brittany Haemers

B. Burdette

Brittany attended USC Columbia where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. She has worked for hospital systems and nonprofit organizations involving service coordination. However, she has always wanted to work with children. Brittany became involved in childcare at a very young age and has experience caring for and teaching young children with various disabilities. She just joined our team in April 2022 and is very happy to be a part of our team. In her free time, Brittany loves spending time with her boyfriend Andrew, their German Shepard Zeus, and their cat Milo. They love going hiking, swimming, and watching Grey’s Anatomy.

Erica graduated from Lander University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with Easterseals for 5 years and has enjoyed helping families and children reach their goals as an EI. Now as a Supervisor, she works hard to ensure the EI’s in Upstate 1 are helping all families get the support they need to help their children reach their full potential.





Tiffany Frosceno-Soper- Service Coordinator

Tiffany is originally from Florida, where she graduated from Saint Leo University with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She has taught kindergarten all the way to third grade in her internships. This is where she found her love and passion for working with children with disabilities. She has spent the last couple years being the lead 4K teacher. She has aspirations to complete a masters program for speech pathology. Tiffany also enjoys spending time with her husband and her two young sons. She is very enthusiastic about working with the families and children at Easterseals.





Caitlin Hampton- Family Trainer

Caitlin is a graduate of Human Services from Anderson University. She has been working in childcare and child development for the past 9 years. She started working with Easterseals in July 2019 and she is excited to work with children and their families to make a difference in their lives. Caitlin is married and has two children who mean the world to her. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, and kayaking.



Lindsay Motes- Family Trainer

After graduating from high school, Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Education at the University of South Carolina. She continued with her education and completed a Master of Science degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Family Psychology prior to entering the field of social work. Lindsay’s work-related experience began in 2003 as a Child Protective Services Case Manager for the South Carolina Department of Social Services. She continued to expand upon her knowledge and skill-set as a Foster Home Licensing Coordinator and Therapeutic Treatment Coordinator during her time with the Easter Seals Foster Care Program in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience working with children from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, ages, and developmental levels. Her dedication and passion for working with parents and children with special needs has continued to grow over the course of her life and she finds meaning and purpose in the career she has chosen. She began her role as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist in 2023 with Easterseals SC. During her free time, Lindsay enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.    

Cortney Irizarry-Family Trainer

 Cortney Irizarry attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology. She worked in child care for 8 years, primarily in infant and toddler classrooms. She also worked for 2 years as a registered behavior technician providing ABA services to children with autism. She is very excited to join the Easterseals team, as working with children and families is her passion. In her free time Cortney enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, 4 cats, and 2 dogs. She also loves reading books of all genres, watching documentaries, hiking, and spending time with friends.

Evelyn Ahnrud

Evelyn attended Sewanee: The University of the South, where she graduated cum laude with a BA in psychology. After graduation, she discovered her passion for helping children and families while serving as a Family Engagement Coordinator with the TN Department of Education. During this time, Evelyn assisted families by matching them with local and national support programs to find healthcare, special education resources, and living resources. Evelyn is passionate about instilling confidence in families by providing them with best practices and strategies to help their children grow and learn. Evelyn joined our team as an Early Intervention Specialist in 2024 and is excited to help children in the South Carolina area reach their full potential. In her free time, Evelyn enjoys playing with her dog and two cats, growing plants in her garden, and seeing live music with friends.

Hannah Haney

Hannah went to the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelors of Arts of Public Health.  She has always had a passion for working with children and has worked in afterschool care while in college.  She grew up seeing disability services in action and is ready to be a part of it. Hannah began working with Easterseals in July 2024 and is looking forward to help children and their families.  She got married in June 2024 and enjoys playing with their dog Miller, spending time with family, and being outside. 

Amanda Wheless- Family Trainer

Amanda

Amanda Wheless graduated from Lander University with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has always had a passion for working with children. After she graduated college she worked in a children’s home where she developed a new passion for mental health which led to helping supporting families through community programs. During her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with her 6 year old daughter and traveling. Amanda is excited to rejoin the Easterseals family!

Angelica McMahan, Family Trainer

Angelica joined the Easterseals team as an Early Intervention Family Trainer in 2024. She is a graduate of Lander University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She has experience working with children from infants to 3rd grade. In her free time, she loves hiking, reading, crafting, and taking care of her slowly growing plant collection. She is passionate about working with children and looks forward to making a difference in the lives of children and families in South Carolina.
