Easterseals Washington President Joins Panel Discussion at Microsoft Ability Summit

Cathy at Microsoft Event

Wednesday, June 30th, 2018 - Easterseals Washington President & CEO, Cathy Bisaillon, joined leaders from local disability service organizations and Microsoft employees in an interactive panel discussion at the 2018 Microsoft Ability Summit. The session was an opportunity for summit attendees to discover how they can make an impact through volunteering at nonprofit organizations like Easterseals using their expertise and skillsets to help those in need.

Cathy and her fellow panelists fielded questions and shared their own experiences for nearly an hour, and afterwards event attendees stopped by the nearby Easterseals Washington table to learn more about our programs and how they can get involved in our mission. Easterseals Washington staff members Jesse Smith and Nate Johnold, and board members Lanse Richardson and Gregg Picard (who is a Microsoft employee) were on hand to answer questions throughout the day.

This was Easterseals Washington’s first time attending the Microsoft Ability Summit, and we are already looking forward to participating again in 2019. Thank you to Microsoft for hosting us and to everyone who we had the chance to connect with at our table.
