How We Thrive
Get involved with the Thrive community! All programs and activities are free, but we do appreciate any donations to expand our program so we can help more young women nationwide.
At its heart, Thrive is an online support network for disabled women. The internet is a fantastic resource for women to share their stories and create lasting friendships. Please join us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to become a part of this awesome community! You can also stay in touch with everything through this website.
Thrive hosts live chats on Twitter about relevant topics for disabled women. We recently co-hosted a chat with Easterseals National about disability and respect, using the #ResolveToRespect hashtag! Our past events focused on discrimination at school, accessible fashion tips, and disability representation on TV. We also have online meetups through a video chat service. Keep checking back to see the latest events, or sign up for mobile alerts by texting THRIVE to 80077! Msg & Data Rates May Apply. Terms: mGive.com/E.
Our Book Club
Thrive aims to change how the world defines and views disability, and that includes representation in literature! Our book club features topics about disability, and offers great recommendations on our GoodReads page - we even have an official bookmark! What are you reading lately? Share your recs with us at any time on our Facebook group.
