It has been more than 90 years since the roots of Easterseals were planted in Central Illinois. What started as a once-a-week clinic in a downtown storefront in Peoria for just a few children, has blossomed into two pediatric specialty service centers and an outdoor recreational center serving thousands of children and adults with disabilities and their families every year.
Widely recognized as a place of hope and progress, Easterseals provides a broad array of programs, services, and facilities serving people with disabilities of all ages in central Illinois.
Easterseals provides services for children with developmental delays, disabilities, autism and other special needs. Services are designed to improve functional as well as life skills.
Easterseals is accredited by CARF International in Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Pediatric Specialty Programs and Behavioral Services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Accreditation is offical recognition that Easter Seals is guided by internationally recognized service standards and best practices.
