Physical Therapy

Physical therapy services focus on preserving, developing and restoring physical function that may have been lost due to injury, disease, aging or congenital abnormality.  Easter Seals licensed Physical Therapists will provide therapeutic services in order to increase functional abilities and independence in all aspects of the clients' life by:

  • Evaluating gross motor and functional mobility skills
  • Providing intervention and consultation services
  • Assessing the need for environmental modifications and adaptive equipment
  • Incorporating safety, prevention and education

Services Provided

  • Therapeutic services within an educational model
  • Outpatient therapy
  • Therapeutic services within Adult Day Service Programs
  • Ergonomic evaluations and consultation
  • Physical Function Assessments for Access Transportation Systems, Inc. to determine clients' physical ability to access public transportation.
