Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services focus on developing a child or adult's ability to perform activities of daily life, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, work and play, by enhancing or restoring function lost due to injury, disease, aging or congenital abnormality.  Easter Seals licensed Occupational Therapists will provide therapeutic services in order to increase functional abilities and independence in all aspects of the clients' life by:

  • Evaluating fine motor, self-care, vocational and sensory processing needs
  • Providing intervention and consultation services
  • Assessing the need for environmental adaptations
  • Incorporating safety, prevention and education

  • Therapeutic services within an educational model
  • Outpatient Therapy
  • In servicing to Adult Day Service programs
  • Sensory Integration Testing
