Family Support

Family Support is a program that offers a range of services meant to meet the needs of individuals diagnosed with a Developmental Disability/Intellectual Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorders for children ages 3 and up who live in home and community based settings.  The goal of Family Support Services is to strengthen the family unit by keeping families together and linking them to vital resources and necessary supports in the community.  Family Support Services are designed to increase access to goods and services  allowing individuals to Live, Learn, Work and Play in their community.

Megan's House

Easterseals Megan's House gives families of children with special needs a safe haven; a place where families can leave their children in specialized caring hands and take a short pause from their responsibilities.  Respite care provided by Megan's House gives parents of children who have a developmental disability, diagnosis of autism or are medically fragile time to recharge, care for their own health care needs or those of other children, get involved in community activities, or simply enrich their own growth and development. Megan's House has three locations in Albany, Valdosta and Waycross, Georgia.  

Champions for Children Program

The Champions for Children Program is designed to primarily assist children and families who do not meet the eligibility requirements for the TEFRA/Katie Beckett Medicaid program.
