Lily Sale
The Sumter County’s firefighters once again held their annual lily sale at the Sumter Wal Mart, Chick-fil-A, K Mart, Food Lion, Lowe's and other locations throughout Sumter SC.
Since 1978, the Sumter Fire Department's community project has assisted children with disabilities in Sumter County to create solutions for the challenges they face in life. Monies are used for early intervention, physical, speech and occupational therapy which enable children to become more independent and productive citizens in their community. The lily, Easter Seals' logo is a symbol of spring.It is associated with resurrection and new life.
