Partner with Easterseals Transportation Group

The Easterseals Transportation Group works to break down barriers to inclusion for people with disabilities by helping communities advance accessible transportation. Our group of mobility and transportation experts work to help states, regions, and communities build coordinated networks and systems to provide better access to education, jobs, health care, and social engagement opportunities.

About Us

The Easterseals Transportation Group facilitates three technical assistance centers.

The National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) is a federally funded, national technical assistance center of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration that promotes the availability and accessibility of transportation options that meet the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. They are funded through a cooperative agreement of Easterseals, the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, and the U.S Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, with guidance from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living.

The National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) pursues, facilitates, and supports partnerships between transportation/mobility management agencies and organizations that provide health-related, social, and community services to older adults, people with disabilities, and/or low-income individuals and families. NCMM enhances transportation options for all through coordination and mobility management practices and strategic partnerships. They are funded through a cooperative agreement with the Federal Transit Administration and operated through a consortium of three national organizations—the American Public Transportation Association, the Community Transportation Association of America, and Easterseals Inc.

Project Action Consulting is a division of Easterseals that operates as fee-for-service consulting, training, and facilitation services. ESPAC continues to innovate and lead the charge to realize the ADA through the provision of technical assistance to individuals with and without disabilities via phone and e-mail and through tailored training and technical assistance for transit agencies and other audiences.
