SCSEP
What Is SCSEP?
SCSEP offers employment and training opportunities to interested older persons wishing to remain in the work force. The program attempts to match the older worker’s interests and abilities with a training position in a community service agency. A community service agency is a non-profit or public facility. Ultimately SCSEP’s goal is to assist the older worker with the transition into unsubsidized employment.
The program is made available through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
The program has two purposes:
To provide useful community services.
