The Easterseals Transportation Group breaks down barriers for people with disabilities by helping communities advance accessible transportation. In states and regions across the country, our group of mobility and transportation experts help build coordinated networks and systems to provide better access to education, jobs, health care, and social engagement opportunities.

Dr. Judy Shanley leads the work. Judy has over thirty years of experience in addressing accessibility topics across education and transportation sectors. She has held national positions with the American Public Transportation Association, the Council for Exceptional Children, and the Transportation Research Board and is a current appointed member of the National Academy of Sciences, TCRP Oversight and Project Selection (TOPS) Commission.

The Easterseals Transportation and Mobility Group manages technical assistance centers, covering a range of topics in accessible transportation. Our team brings a wealth of knowledge to assist transportation professionals, stakeholders, and advocates with any questions on accessible transportation, sidewalk accessibility, coordination, and mobility.
