Teneshia Morgan is a nonprofit and workforce development leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing organizational growth, program innovation, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives in workforce development, anti-trafficking services, homelessness prevention, oral health care access for adults experiencing homelessness, and community-based programming, improving outcomes for underserved and vulnerable populations.
In her current role as field project coordinator for Easterseals' Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), Teneshia oversees program operations in Illinois and Arizona. She leads workforce initiatives that help older adults gain skills, training, and employment opportunities while ensuring program quality, regulatory compliance, and strong community partnerships. Her expertise includes program design and development, compliance management, workforce development, and continuous improvement. She creates innovative, results-driven programs that align with federal regulations and organizational goals.
Teneshia also provides professional development and capacity-building training for staff, equipping teams with the tools and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services and maintain compliance. In addition, she facilitates workforce development training for participants, focusing on career readiness, employability skills, digital literacy, job retention, and successful transitions to unsubsidized employment.
She holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in government management and a Bachelor of Arts in organizational leadership from Roosevelt University. She is also a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) and maintains memberships in the American Society on Aging, the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, the National Career Development Association, and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
