General Bob Edmonds is CEO of Edmonds Strategic Group, a consulting and investment firm comprised of people and companies focused on mission and growth. In addition to leading his own firm, Bob previously drove significant growth for Elbit America as GCO/SVP of Marketing and Business Development from 2015-2024. During this period, the company achieved consecutive record years for orders with at least 1.1 book-to-bill. As an Executive Leadership Team member reporting to the President and CEO, he helped manage operations within the global, publicly traded parent company, Elbit Systems. Under his tenure, yearly revenues rose from approximately $650M to $1.6B.
Bob serves as a Senior Advisory Director in Lincoln International investment bank's Aerospace and Defense practice, providing insights on M&A deals since 2008. Previously, he was a Vice President at Exelis, Inc., leading business development, government relations, and Air Force programs for the $5B aerospace and defense company before its acquisition by Harris.
Bob retired from the United States Air Force as a Brigadier General. A command pilot with over 2,500 flight hours and 300 combat hours, he led 42 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm. His distinguished career included serving as a White House Fellow and working on Capitol Hill as Deputy Director for Legislative Liaison, leading Air Force congressional affairs for both the House and Senate.
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bob graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from the USAF Academy with a BSCE, then earned his MSCE summa cum laude as a Guggenheim Fellow from Columbia University. He currently serves on several USAF Academy boards and is a past president and board member of the White House Fellows Foundation and Association. In addition to his Lincoln International role, Bob holds various Advisory Board positions.
