In a recent CNN article, Easterseals President and CEO Kendra Davenport raised the alarm over the Department of Labor’s failure to release more than $300 million in federal funding for the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). SCSEP is the only federal workforce program specifically designed to help low-income Americans age 55 and older reenter the workforce through paid community service, job training, and employment support.
