Easterseals Backs Bipartisan Blue Envelope Programs Act

Easterseals proudly supports the Supporting Blue Envelope Programs Act, introduced to fund and scale programs that help first responders and community members communicate effectively during traffic stops and other encounters. The bill authorizes grants, provides training, and protects privacy (no participant registry), pairing practical tools—like a clearly marked envelope with ID, registration, and emergency contacts—with person‑centered, trauma‑informed practices.
