For many of the more than 1 in 4 Americans living with a disability, accessible tech is a vital tool for communication, connection, and economic opportunity. Tools like voice recognition software, captioned video platforms, and AAC technology are gateways to employment and economic opportunity. Yet millions of working-age adults with disabilities remain unemployed, not due to lack of talent, but due to inflexible systems and job structures, as well as outdated tools. Davenport calls on employers to change that.
