Community employment services provide an individualized approach to assisting persons with disabilities and other needs to make informed choices and attain their employment aspirations. Our approach includes an array of services and supports that ultimately lead to employment. This approach is designed to identify goals, objectives and planning needs, and provide the supports the person needs to achieve and maintain employment.
Our workforce team has more than 50 years of experience connecting job seekers to employers. Through focusing on evidence-based approaches, we have connected over 200 people with jobs.
What specialized services does the workforce team have?
IPS (Individualized Placement and Support) - An evidence based approach created by Dartmouth to assist individuals with mental health challenges in securing and maintaining employment.
Military and Veterans - Job training, placement, resources and other services to assist returning military service members and veterans to secure employment.
Customized Employment - Flexible process designed to personalize the employment relationship between a job candidate or employee and an employer in a way that meets the needs of both. It is based on identifying the strengths, conditions, and interests of a job candidate or employee through a process of discovery.
Supported Employment - A holistic process for employment that includes a career profile, individualized job development, systematic job training and ongoing support.
