Easterseals 100th Anniversary Campaign Captures PR News Award

At a recent awards ceremony in New York City, Easterseals and its PR Agency, the Dalton Group, were recognized with PR News’ 2019 Elite Agency Award in the Government/NGO category for Easterseals’ 100th Anniversary Campaign.

Elements of the Anniversary’s marketing and public relations campaign which contributed to success in building the iconic charity’s brand and earned it the PR News Award included national and grassroots-level engagement of Easterseals’ Network of 68 Affiliates to generate media coverage in new and traditional media to produce nearly 900 stories and 147M impressions valued at $610K; the “Light Up Orange for Easterseals” initiative on its April 22nd anniversary supported by 47 landmarks nationwide, including the Empire State Building, Niagara Falls, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; and a National Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., and Celebration Dinner attended by more than 300 stakeholders from across the country and hosted by PBS NewsHour Anchor Judy Woodruff.
