John F. Jostrand is a partner at William Blair & Co, LLC, where he has done asset management for more than 21 years. His career includes more than 36 years of experience with institutional portfolio management and investment analysis, first at Boatmen’s National Bank and then at TRW, Inc.
John has been a member of several civic and professional organizations, including the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Chicago and Pilgrim Village, and currently sits on the Easter Seals of DuPage Board of Directors and is a trustee for the Chancellors Society at the University of Missouri. In 2012, he was a delegate to the Easter Seals national convention.
In his role as chair of Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region’s Program Committee, John analyzed the organization’s current business model and led the charge in focusing on new methods of services delivery that foster long-term sustainability.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Missouri and went on to receive his MBA from the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Beth, live in Chicago and have two grown children, Tim and Pete.
Elected to Easter Seals Board of Directors in October 2014, Mr. Jostrand serves as a member of the Affiliate Relations and Audit Committees.
