AVP, Affiliate & Network Advancement

Summary:

The AVP, Affiliate & Network Advancement supports all functions and activities related to strengthening the Affiliate Network.  In close collaboration with SVP, Affiliate Network Advancement manages and develops knowledge initiatives to ensure successful knowledge sharing, data collection, systematic learning internally and with the affiliate network and stakeholders.  This position will support SVP in planning, managing, and executing comprehensive and diversified Network advancement initiatives that deepens organizational sustainability and allows for strategic, mission-aligned growth.

Basic Responsibilities:

Assists Senior Vice President in expanding the Easterseals Network by conducting a thorough analysis of existing and potential affiliates to assess capacity, viability, and opportunities for Network growth.

Supports efforts to protect the brand and ensure highest quality of brand experience.

In collaboration with the Affiliate Network, support the development and growth of a community of practice for knowledge management and collaboration among national office, affiliate leadership, staff, and volunteers.

Works across the Network to identify technology tools to generate reports, dashboards, and outcomes and impact data that can be used by the Network.

Identify, plan, and oversee network-wide initiatives to improve programmatic content and organizational best practices, including identifying relevant tools and process improvement where necessary.

Ability to successfully operationalize Easterseals’ strategic plan objectives by leveraging technology solutions to collect, analyze and provide information to drive decision making and position Easterseals to partner with third-party payors, other not for profits, and corporations.   

  • Achieve Measurable Impact to strengthen data collection and reporting, measure impact of key Easterseals’ programs on the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH).
  • Build Network Capacity to define and support what it means to be a Thriving Network to increase grant funding, improve Affiliate engagement, identify opportunity for Affiliate Expansion and to establish affinity groups.

Strong Collaboration and Project Management Skills - ability to set and juggle multiple priorities, manage cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives, support team members, and track complex tasks across multiple stakeholders. 

A thought partner to other senior leaders to innovate and drive organizational initiatives and change through reasoned, thoughtful due diligence and experience.

Help monitor and evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities; working collaboratively with the Information Technology Department to identify and oversee the implementation of a knowledge management technology tool and manage a smooth and efficient rollout of the new technology platform.

Contributes to an organizational culture of innovation and exemplary performance.

Understands and endorses the mission and values of Easter Seals.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable project management, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks and follow-through with minimal supervision
  • Ability to utilize independent judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively; experienced in presenting and communicating key concepts and ideas across organizational and geographically disperse sites
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with internal and external staff and stakeholders
  • knowledge of website and social media
  • Advanced knowledge and experience creating reports to meet business needs
  • Advanced knowledge of database concepts and tools required to map data elements needed for reporting
  • Ability to understand business need, research complex data models and create reports from scratch to direct business and operational decisions
  • Expert proficiency needed in advanced functions of Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in business, healthcare administration, public health or related course of study or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.

Minimum of three years management experience handling multiple tasks and priorities

Three to five years’ experience with online knowledge management systems
